Cooking Workshop - Maple Palooza, Four course meal!
Let's celebrate maple sugaring season with a gourmet meal made with maple-kissed local ingredients! Please join local foodie and chef, Kip Bergstrom of theperishablecook.com for a new cooking workshop where we will be cooking in season with fresh, local ingredients to create a four course, gourmet meal!
The main course will be local lamb tagine with maple kissed cous-cous. Our soup will be curried local squash, apple & maple. The gravlax won't be strictly local, but its maple, mustard dill sauce will be in part and who wouldn't want to learn to make this delicacy?! Dessert will be entirely locally sourced baked apples with ice cream and maple syrup.
Cost is $20 per adult and mature youth are free with an adult. Register by March 12th via the URL. Email outreach@soromarket.coop with questions. We look forward to seeing you there to celebrate the bounty of our land!
